AKARI 2014

I present you my final look for my 2 fashion classes of fall semester 2014. There's a whole story behind it and I don't feel like explaining it but basically it was about light reflecting on the garment, geometric shapes and color ! This look is all made out of 100% cotton except the mohair patches on the knees and the pocket. This was a lot of work and I'm so happy to be done, I can finally enjoy my holidays and do absolutely nothing ! The pictures were taken by Mika Altskan who also made an amazing fashion video for me, all shot in the subway in Brooklyn. The model wearing my clothes is my friend Ethan who is seriously the coolest and looks so good ! I would like to thank these 2 amazing people who helped me out so much ! xx

Je vous présente mon dernier projet du semestre, un look entièrement fait en coton (sauf les patches sur les genoux et la poche de la chemise). Il y'a toute une histoire derrière mais c'est beaucoup trop long et compliquée donc je reste brève, cette tenue est basée sur les forme géométriques, la couleur et le reflet de la lumière sur le tissu. J'ai passé un temps fou dessus et je suis contente d'avoir enfin fini. A moi les vacances ! Je voudrais remercier Mika Altskan pour ces magnifiques photos et pour cette video ainsi que mon mannequin Ethan .. Bg non ? xx

White Christmas

An all white outfit for today's blog post. I love all white outfits and have been wearing for a while but never did an article about it. I enjoy mixing different shades of white because I think it looks more interesting. The way Ivania does it, the blogger from Love Aesthetics, is amazing. She truly is my favorite when it comes to white or minimalist. The pictures were taken in Soho, Alex and I were on our way to the Pop of Flea for men, it was basically a playground for guys ! xx

Une tenue tout en blanc pour l'article du jour ! J'ai toujours adoré les looks " 100% White", mais ce que je préfère c'est mélanger le ton des blancs. Concernant le blanc et le look minimaliste, je m'inspire toujours d'Ivania, la bloggeuse de Love Aesthetics, elle sait s'y prendre ! Ces photos ont été prises dans Soho a Manhattan quelques minutes avant que la neige tombe! xx

RUSTY- 5 DAYS OF AOS

I've been craving these shoes for the last month. A few days ago, it was black friday and Envi Shoes was having a 30% off sale. So I got them. I'm never taking them off, they're too amazing. Skinny jeans and high heels are one of my favorites. These skinnies were sent to me by Articles of Society for the 5 days of AOS. You can get yours here ! I'm also bringing the spice girls back, yay for poney tails ! xx

Roses are Red and Violets are Blue

This is a comfy outfit for me to go work in the studio (finals week approaches.) I love matching sweatshirts with chunky boots and jeans, it's easy and my "go to" outfit. This amazing purple faux fur coat was found in a thrift store in Jersey, and I found it in the little girls section.. it fits ! YAY. I was looking for a neon yellow or green one but the purple one is even better. I matched it with my floral sweatshirt sent to me by Persunmall, it was originally pure black but after washing it, the color changed and it became grey'ish. I actually like the grey better ! Hope you guys are having a good Monday, i know they suck :) xx

Une tenue comfort mais qui flash quand même un peu ! Comme je travaille beaucoup en ce moment dans mon studio (couture couture couture!) je veux être comfortable. Un sweat, un jean et des bottes c'est parfait! Le manteau violet en fausse fourrure je l'ai trouvé dans une fripe dans la section enfant ! Ca faisait un moment que j'en cherchais un (en vert ou jaune neon.) Je le porte avec un sweat qui m'a été envoyé par Persunmall. Apres l'avoir lavé, il est passé du noir au gris mais j'aime bien! Passez un bon lundi meme si on l'aime pas :) xx

The Hunter Outfit

I call this the "hunter outfit" basically because I look like I'm ready to hunt deer !

The bomber and shirt were found at my ultimate favorite salvation army ever, it's in New Jersey and every time I go there, I hit the jackpot. To talk about the details, my mom is going to KILL me. She bought me these TUK creepers for christmas and made me swear not to wear them, I was only aloud to put them in my suitcase and bring them back to Paris to put under the Xmas tree. The thing is, I really wanted to wear them for thanksgiving with my black velvet dress ! Yikes I'm in trouble once she sees this, I better go hide under the bed now. BYE !

Btw, these super cool aviator sunnies were sent to me by a "made in USA" online shop called Randolph Engineering. Please check out their shop they have sunnies all made in the states with love and care!

J'ai nommé cette tenue, "prête pour aller chasser". Je ressemble a un chasseur américain non ? Le bomber et la chemise imprimée ont été dénichés dans une de mes fripes préférées au NJ, c'est la caserne d'Alibaba a chaque fois. Pour parler de mes chaussures, oui ce sont des creepers en velours ! Le seul truc c'est que ma maman me les a commandées pour Noel et m'a fais jurer de ne pas les porter. Il fallait que je les mettes dans ma valise pour les ramener a Paris et les mettre sous le sapin. Vite, il faut que j'aille me cacher sous le lit avant qu'elle voit mon nouveau poste ! BYE ! (en vrai, je voulais les porter avec ma robe en velour pour Thanksgiving !)
