Starting Over.

I haven't posted in a while. Things have been a little crazy these past few days. I'm not going to pour my soul out here since it's not that kind of place but I'll admit I have been a bit off... trying to figure things out with my life right now. Anyway. Bad excuse for not being super present but I'm slowly getting back in place. These pictures are from a couple weeks ago taken in Dumbo. Still wearing a lot of pink but not feeling like myself lately. Ca fait un petit bout de temps que je n'ai pas posté ici. Ces derniers jours ont été un peu triste, je ne vais pas vous raconter ma vie personnelle mais je n'avais pas vraiment le moral, je ne l'ai toujours pas vraiment mais j'essaie. Voici quelques photos prisent il y a peut être 2 semaines a Dumbo près du Manhattan Bridge a Brooklyn. Il faisait beau et pour ne pas changer les habitudes, je portais du rose! The Grinch

Yes this post is inspired by one of my favorites movies and vivid memory from my childhood, The Grinch. I've had these Birkenstocks for a while but haven't really been wearing them much. I've always wanted those Gucci loafers (you know, the really expensive ones that I can't afford. So I made my own version of them! All if you is some fur, some glue and some strap shoes! I paired these with my all denim look (and a little green shirt of course). Enjoy!

Oui, ce post est dédié a un de mes films préférés, Le Grinch. Ca fait des années que je bave devant les magnifiques Loafers de chez Gucci et que je n'ai bien évidemment pas l'argent pour les acheter. J'ai donc pris mes 2 mains, un peu de colle, un peu de fourrures vertes et des Birkenstocks et hop le tour est joué! J'ai décidé de porter un look total denim et un petit chemisier vert pour faire un rappel :)

A few thoughts.

This is sort of weird. I got this Nike shirt about a month ago at Salvation Army for $2. I've always wanted to go to Miami, thought this shirt would be fun to wear (because A, it's pink, and B, I've been dying to go.) Didn't realize something this horrible would happen a few weeks later. I've thought about not posting these photos, but there is no point on me doing that. This might not be the right time to write and talk about fashion, but I've always told myself to keep on doing what I love. Hope this might bring a bit of joy to your day. I am sending all my hugs and kisses to everyone out there, wether you lost someone or just feel utterly depressed. Wishing everyone the best!

C'est bizarre de voir ces photos. J'ai trouvé ce tee shirt a 2$ il y a peut être un mois dans une fripe. Je me suis dis, "il est rose, parfait! Il me le faut!" "Orlando? J'ai toujours voulu y aller" Aujourd'hui, 3-4 semaines plus tard, je n'aurais jamais penser a voir ce genre d'horreur tombées (encore et encore). Je me suis posée des questions, devrais-je ne pas poster cet article? Mais je me redis toujours la même chose: je ne vais pas arrêter de vivre et plus faire ce que j'aime. J'adore la mode, j'adore documenter mon propre style. Alors je continue en espérant que j'apporte un peu le sourire. ON A LE DROIT D'AIMER QUI ON VEUT. L'AMOUR POUR TOUS!

FEELING MYSELF

This is probably the second time EVER that I'm wearing a bathing suit on the blog. I think the last time I posted an article like this was in Greece 2 years ago? (and I totally regretted it) But a couple days ago, I was talking to my friend Slanelle about this. She just recently posted an amazing article about it and you should definitely go read it! I've decided that I should be able to wear and show whatever I want. SO HERE YOU HAVE IT. I got this perfect donut float from Asos and I can't wait to sit on it at the pool. Beware for more pictures to come!

Apres une longue discussion sur le corps des femmes avec ma copine Slanelle, j'ai décidé moi aussi de me mettre en maillot de bain sur le blog ! Parce qu'au final, on a le droit de porter ce que l'on veut, même si ca consiste en un maillot de bain ! Si vous n'avez pas encore vu son article sur "bien se sentir dans son corps" je vous conseille vivement d'aller y faire un tour. Au passage, j'ai choisi cette bouée donut de chez Asos, j'ai hate de faire des photos avec dans une vraie piscine !

PINK PART II

Here I am with another pink outfit. Are you surprised? This bodysuit is amazing because it covers basically everything but leaves a little side action! I've actually added a lace up option so that it would look a little less "ina-pro-pro". Ain't nothing wrong with a little side boob action, but I want to be able to wear to my everyday work attire. I've paired the bodysuit with some pink espadrilles from Asos, a cool pair of 1970's sunnies and giant hat of course. Enjoy!

Une autre tenue rose ? Je n'arrêterais jamais ! Me voici avec un body UO, parfait pour l'été, il couvre les parties "coups de soleil" mais il est ouvert sur le côté. J'ai rajouté des lacets pour pouvoir le porter au boulot. (parce que quand même...) De même, je porte mes nouvelles espadrilles roses de chez Asos avec une paire de lunettes 1970's et bien sur, un grand chapeau !
